Buffett: Holding large amounts of cash is 'quite attractive' relative to available capital in the stock market and conflicts around the world
Golden Finance reported that Buffett said at the 2024 Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting that it is safe to assume that Berkshire Hathaway's cash holdings will reach $200 billion by the end of June. Efforts will be made to reduce the number of shares when appropriate. By the end of 2024, Apple will most likely remain Berkshire Hathaway's largest stock holding. Unless something major happens, Apple will continue to be Berkshire's largest investment in the stock sector. Relative to the available funds in the stock market and conflicts around the world, holding a large amount of cash is "quite attractive."
