According to CME's "Fed Watch", the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 96%, and the probability of a 25 basis point cut is 4%. By June, the likelihood of the Fed maintaining steady rates stands at 83.1%, with a cumulative chance of a 25 basis point reduction at 16.4% and a cumulative chance for a 50 basis point cut at just 0.5%.
