Deutsche Bank Survey: Over 50% of People Expect Cryptocurrencies to Become an "Important" Asset Class and Payment Method

bitcoin, a new survey by Deutsche Bank found that more than half of the respondents expect cryptocurrencies to become an important asset class and payment method. In addition, 10% of respondents predict that the price of Bitcoin will exceed $75,000 by the end of the year. A recent survey conducted by Deutsche Bank on over 3,600 consumers shows that consumer skepticism towards Bitcoin has decreased. More than half (52%) of respondents believe that cryptocurrencies will become "an important asset class and transaction method" in the future, a proportion less than 40% in last September's survey.
The survey also found that 40% of respondents are confident about Bitcoin's robust growth in the coming years while 38% anticipate it will disappear. Furthermore, less than 1% think
cryptocurrency is "just a trend which will eventually fade away". The number of American participants who predicted Bitcoin would fall below $20,000 by year-end is decreasing. Currently one third hold this view which is lower compared to January’s figure at 36%, and February’s at 35%. Additionally, ten percent predict bitcoin will reach above $75,000 by year-end.
