London Stock Exchange accepts applications for Bitcoin and Ethereum ETNs
The London Stock Exchange will accept applications for Bitcoin and Ethereum ETNs in the second quarter of 2024, according to Bloomberg.It is reported that ETN stands for "Exchange Traded Note" and is a listed product on the exchange known as "Exchange Traded Bonds" or "Index-Linked Securities". Unlike ETFs, the term "Note" indicates that ETNs are bonds issued by financial institutions (issuers) that promise to track specific indicators based on their creditworthiness.
