South Korean encrypted social platform Somesing was hacked and lost more than $11.5 million
According to The Block, the South Korean encrypted social platform Somesing suffered a vulnerability attack on January 27, losing 730 million native tokens SSX (worth more than $11.5 million). Hackers stole part of the 504 million undistributed SSX tokens (planned to be circulated by the end of 2025), as well as the 226 million SSX tokens held by the Somesing Foundation (which has become part of its current circulation). Somesing stated that it plans to freeze assets and take legal action after identifying the criminals.
