December BTC options trading volume reached a new high of 37.9 billion US dollars
According to data from The Block Pro, the holdings of BTC and ETF options fell across the board in December, with BTC option holdings falling by 15.6% and ETH option holdings falling by 5.5%. However, the trading volume of BTC and ETH options generally increased, with the trading volume of ETH options rising by 17.3% in December to $37.9 billion, setting a new historical high for monthly trading volume; while the trading volume of ETH options rose by 5.9%, increasing to $15.3 billion.
