JPMorgan Chase: Ethereum may outperform Bitcoin next year
In a report on Wednesday, Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou and other analysts from JPMorgan Chase wrote that by 2024, Ethereum's performance could surpass Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. We believe that Ethereum will regain its role next year and reclaim market share in the crypto ecosystem. The main catalyst is the EIP-4844 upgrade or Protodanksharding, which is expected to take place in the second half of 2024. We believe this upgrade may take a bigger step towards improving Ethereum network activity, thereby helping Ethereum outperform the market.
