Tesla Removed 'bitcoin' Source Code from Payment Pages
Tesla has deleted the source code of "bitcoin" in the payment page, and the last modification date of the js code file was early July 21, Beijing time. Yesterday, some users found that the word "bitcoin" appeared in the source code of Tesla's car payment page, and the news was spread to a certain extent in both English and Chinese crypto communities. The source code was last updated on July 13th, but that doesn't mean that the "bitcoin" code was added during the July 13th update, and there's no way to prove that Tesla deleted the code after it removed support for bitcoin payments in May of 2011," Tesla said.
