Crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe stated that bitcoin has recently been fluctuating between $85,000 and $90,000, and capital inflows into the crypto market may require the US stock market to reach a local high. Market analysis points out that bitcoin typically experiences 5%-7% volatility during the Christmas period, which is related to year-end options expiration. This Friday, approximately 300,000 bitcoin options contracts (worth $23.7 billions) and 446,000 IBIT options contracts will expire.
