How to Qualify for Display as Elite Trader on the Copy Trading Leaderboard?

This article explains how elite traders become eligible to appear on Bitget’s Copy Trading Leaderboard, including leaderboard and search visibility rules.

Overview

To ensure fairness and performance quality, Bitget uses clear eligibility criteria to determine which elite traders are displayed on the Copy Trading page.

These rules vary depending on whether you're participating in futures or spot copy trading. Some criteria impact your ranking visibility, while others affect whether users can search and find your profile.

Spot Elite Trader Display Requirements

Previously, spot elite traders were required to meet minimum asset and trading activity thresholds. Now, there are no restrictions for appearing on the Spot Copy Trading page.

As of the latest update:

• Anyone who creates a spot elite portfolio can be displayed.

• Maintain spot assets of at least 100 USDT.

• There are no asset or closed trade requirements for visibility.

Note: If your spot asset balance falls below 100 USDT, your profile will be removed from the Leaderboard. However, existing followers will not be affected and can continue copying your trades.

Futures Elite Trader Display Requirements

1. Search visibility requirements

To be searchable in the Futures Copy Trading section:

• Maintain futures assets of at least 100 USDT.

If your futures asset balance falls below 100 USDT, your profile will no longer appear in search results. However, existing followers can still copy your trades.

2. Leaderboard display requirements

To appear on the Futures Elite Trader leaderboard, you must meet all of the following during the selected time period:

• Futures assets of at least 100 USDT

• Account profit, ROI, and follower profit are all greater than or equal to 0

Note: If any of these metrics are negative, your account will not be displayed on the leaderboard during that period.

Why not Showing up on the Copy Trading Leaderboard?

If you believe you're eligible but aren't visible:

1. Verify that your asset balance and trading activity meet the current criteria.

2. Wait for the hourly leaderboard refresh.

The list is updated every hour.

2. Can I appear on both the spot and futures Copy Trading pages?
Yes. If you create both a spot and a futures elite portfolio and meet the respective criteria, you can be displayed on both pages.
