Ancient Bitcoin Whales Control at Least 80,009 BTC Across 8 Addresses, with 4 Wallets Yet to Be Activated
Odaily Planet Daily News: According to monitoring by Lookonchain, a dormant Bitcoin whale for 14 years holds at least 80,009 BTC, valued at $8.69 billion. This whale controls approximately eight wallets, of which two received 20,000 BTC on April 2, 2011—worth $15,600 at the time and now valued at $2.18 billion—when BTC was priced at $0.78. The other six wallets received 60,009 BTC on May 4, 2011, worth $202,000 at the time and now valued at $6.52 billion, when BTC was priced at $3.37. Today, four of these addresses transferred out 40,000 BTC, while the remaining four wallets are still dormant.
