Fed's Bostic: expects only one rate cut this year, down from two previously predicted
Atlanta Fed President Bostic said in an interview that he now expects only one rate cut this year. This is lower than his previous expectation of two rate cuts. Bostic said he changed his forecast, because he thinks the process of inflation fallback this year will be ‘very bumpy’. He also said that companies are beginning to expect inflation to rise.
