JPMorgan: Trump's first two years of second term could be influential
According to JPMorgan Private Bank Managing Director Stephen Greitzer on November 11, if Trump makes policy changes in terms of taxation, deregulation, and cryptocurrency, his first two years of the second term could be "quite influential". Greitzer stated that Trump's tax cut plan is key. "If you bought a company's stock, you are obviously buying their future earnings after deducting taxes. If the tax rate is low, the stock price will be high. I think this is what we saw last week. Clearly, both the House and Senate are now on Trump’s side so we might see things moving in this direction for the next two years." He also pointed out that after the midterm elections in 2026, "doing these things may not be so easy."
