Government Prosecutors Defend FTX Executive Nishad Singh's Reduced Sentence for His Assistance and Good Behavior
On October 24, government prosecutors in the case of former FTX executive Nishad Singh have asked the sentencing judge to consider Singh's “substantial assistance” and “exemplary cooperation” in the government's investigation of FTX. In the filing, prosecutors said Singh “demonstrated sincere remorse and an eagerness to help,” and that Singh assisted the government in understanding how FTX's code allowed for the illegal use of customer funds and described in detail the transactions that Sam Bankman-Fried conducted with the stolen money.
