Mining hosting provider Revolve Labs plans to build $60 million AI data center in Minnesota
according to TheMinerMag, Bitcoin mining hosting provider Revolve Labs plans to establish an artificial intelligence data center in central Minnesota. They had previously withdrawn their mining expansion proposal due to community opposition. In September, Revolve Labs held a meeting with the Glenko Economic Development Bureau to expand their facilities in the city to accommodate one to two artificial intelligence data centers, cooling systems and backup generators. The project is expected to have a capacity of 10 megawatts, employ about 10 employees, and cost between $40 million and $60 million. As part of the Revolve Labs proposal, they plan to purchase two plots of land totaling 6.2 acres and build a substation for expansion.
