Mt.Gox: The trustee carried out Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash repayments through a designated cryptocurrency exchange on July 31
Mt.Gox has announced that after repayments on July 5, 16, and 24 in 2024, the trustee made repayments to some creditors in the form of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash through certain designated cryptocurrency exchanges on July 31, 2024. To date, more than 17,000 creditors have been repaid. Repayments will be made immediately to other creditors once the following conditions are met: (i) confirmation of the validity of registered accounts and other matters; (ii) intention to accept subscription receipt agreements by designated cryptocurrency exchanges etc.; (iii) completion of discussions about repayment between trustees and designated cryptocurrency exchanges etc.; (iv) confirmation that repayment can be done safely and reliably. Mt.Gox stated that it would ask eligible creditors to wait for a while.
