Kraken Signs Sponsorship Agreement with Premier League Football Club Tottenham
cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has signed a multi-season agreement with Tottenham Hotspur (commonly known as "Spurs") to become the club's sleeve sponsor. Last week, Kraken announced a similar agreement with Spanish football team Atletico Madrid, meaning the company is now a crypto sponsor of both the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga. It is reported that Kraken is in talks to raise $100 million in funding by the end of the year for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO). Sponsoring Spurs and Atletico Madrid may enhance its plans as it now gains visibility in the two most popular football leagues in the world.
