The Bitget Card lets you spend USDT directly from your OTC account, with a 0.9% transaction fee applied to each purchase. The Bitget Card is denominated in USD. Transactions conducted in currencies other than USD will be converted into USD using Visa's exchange rate on the day of settlement by the merchant, which may differ from the rate on the transaction date. Visa and the issuing bank may also apply FX fees for non-USD transactions.
When making a purchase, you may see the authorized amount appear 20% higher than the final transaction amount. This temporary hold acts as a security buffer to cover any potential fees. Once the transaction is settled, the excess amount will be released back to your Bitget Card balance.
Spending limits
Your spending limits are determined by your card level, which is tied to your VIP level and quarterly spending behavior.

Card levels and upgrade rules
The Bitget Card has four levels, and your initial level is determined by your VIP level at the time of card issuance.
Card levels are evaluated quarterly on the following dates: January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1.
-
If your total spending meets the required threshold during the quarter, your card level will be automatically upgraded in the next review cycle.
-
If your spending falls below the required amount, your card level may be downgraded accordingly.
Example: For example, if you apply for a Bitget card and hold VIP level 3 status, your initial card level will be 2. You will be upgraded to the next card level with a higher spending limit if you meet the required spending amount in the following quarter.
