Aave founder clarifies that the $15 million purchase of AAVE tokens was not used for proposal voting

According to Odaily, Aave founder Stani.eth posted on X that the DAO has already generated $140 million in revenue this year, surpassing the total revenue of the past three years combined, and that AAVE token holders have control over these funds. He stated that in the future, there will be a clearer explanation of how products developed by Aave Labs create value for the DAO and AAVE token holders. Regarding the $15 million spent to purchase AAVE tokens, he clarified that these tokens were not used to vote on recent proposals, as that was never his intention. Rather, this is his lifelong endeavor, and he is supporting his beliefs with his own funds.
