Bloomberg Analyst: Bitcoin's Pullback This Year Is Normal Volatility, Still Maintaining an Average Annual Increase of Around 50%
According to ChainCatcher, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that bitcoin's performance this year is more of a natural pullback after last year's exceptionally strong rally. Bitcoin has risen by 122% in 2024, about five times the increase of other assets. Therefore, even if it moves sideways or experiences a slight correction after entering 2025, as long as it can maintain an average annual increase of around 50%, such a "cooling-off period" is considered normal.
He noted that the market is overinterpreting bitcoin's pullback, and similar situations are very common in stocks and other traditional assets.
