Jinse Finance reported that the three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed. The Dow Jones closed up 0.68%, hitting a new closing high, the Nasdaq fell 0.26%, and the S&P 500 rose 0.06%. Bank stocks generally rose, with Jefferies up more than 5%, Goldman Sachs up more than 3%, and Citigroup and Morgan Stanley up more than 2%. Gold stocks strengthened, with Hecla Mining and Harmony Gold up more than 5%. Large technology stocks were mixed, with AMD up 9%, Oracle down more than 3%, and Tesla down more than 2%.
